Welcome to my website!

I’m Kyle O’Donnell, and currently a Ph.D. Student at the University of South Florida, researching Computer Vision and AI/ML under Dr. Chandra Kambhamettu.

My research interests include Virtual Reality, 3D Reconstruction, SLAM techniques, Reinforcement Learning, and AI/ML generally. Currently working on applications of dynamic 3DGS and ray tracing.

Outside of research, I am an avid 3D Printer and CAD designer, and have started down the path of Datacenter management, currently managing a Proxmox cluster (where I host this website).

I’m also an avid reader, and am currently working through the Wheel of Time novels, the Stormlight Archive, and the Ciaphus Cain Novels from Warhammer 40K.
